Nvidia Shield Wireless

It seems that the wireless in my Nvidia Shield is not working properly, seems to be poorly performing (almost never says over 50Mbp/s connection to the router) and it seems to stop working altogether sometimes and i have force to disable and re-enable the wireless adapter. The shield is connecting to a 5GHz wireless access point and i have had this same issue in more than one location (so different APs). I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue?

Are you using a compatible Wireless router?

 

Routers: 802.11a/g router (minimum). 802.11n dual band router (recommended). Check out a list of GameStream-ready routers.

I am using a business class N300 Wireless Access Point, its the Dlink DAP-2553, it is not on the list but it has PLENTY of throughput.

Um.....Do you have any other electronics that use Wireless that you can test the connection?

Yes. They all seem to work fine. Even browsing the internet on the Shield is spotty. If i hit refresh on the page enough it will come up eventually. But there are other times where it works alright. Not really sure what's going on and thinking i should probably RMA the shield.

I actually just found my micro-usb OTG cable so i was able to use a regular usb ethernet adapter, seems to work great.
