Hello PC Master Race

I am going to buy a new PC. Found out i am going to build it my self, is it difficult?

My budget is at around 20,000 NOK (Norwegian Kroner) around 2500 U.S Dollars.

The PC will be used mostly for gaming with capability to use VR Headsets and actually be able to run games at high settings.

For now i only have one monitor but i am planing on going over to ether a wide screen or double monitor setup.

I got a good keyboard and mice. any tips on a great monitor would be appreciated as well :D

I am upgrading because at the moment i am playing on a PC as UserBenchmark would describe it a surfboard. (Picture of specs included)

So i have already put together some components and i am wondering if there is anything i should change out or if it is all good too go. Link: Should i buy this or change some parts?

Thank you so much in advance

Best Regards

Christoffer

Building a PC isn't hard at all, as long as you know what you're doing.

I wouldn't change anything on the build, for monitors I'd probably aim for a higher end Asus or Acer display

The only thing to prove difficult for me my first time is the CPU cooler & mounting brackets but it seems i was just very incompetent

System:  Ryzen 7 1800x, GTX 1070 8GB, MSI x370 SLI PLUS, CORSAIR LPX 4x 4GB 3000mhz, MASTERBOX 5, EVGA 650W G2, WD 250GB M.2

Yeah, my CPU cooler installation was a little hard too because I was mounting an AIO liquid cooler to a side panel

Been looking into the Acer 27" Curved Predator Z271 and the Predator Z35 also changed a bit on the power supply because it is on sale EVGA GQ 750W Hybrid Modular 80+ PSU.

That sounds good, the Predator monitors are some of my favorites

For gaming, 32GB RAM is overkill. This 16GB kit is decently priced.

An550-650W PSU is plenty for the build. A Seasonic Focus Plus Gold or RMx would be quieter choices, and they cost roughly the same.

Do you really need the pro version of Windows?

But if for some reason i find out i want another GTX 1080ti in there i would have to upgrade the power supply as well?

You're paying quite a premium to buy just from Komplett. You could save ~1000 kr by buying from different stores.

Get the RM750x, it's a better PSU, costs the same, and is a bit better. 750W is enough for SLI 1080 Tis.

Gonna switch over to RM750x it's the one from corsair right? For the price saving there are not a lot of PC part stores here in Norway and importing from other countries i'll end up spending a lot in shipment and fees for getting it into Norway :(
