Hey Guys, can someone find me a RGB POWER light for a motherboard. Would appreciate it.

There was a build of one the forums but you can get commercial available RGB buttons, however you would not be able to directly interface it with RGB sync controllers like aura sync.

Apparently they do already exist on the market, and uses standard 4 pin RGB control so Aura sync and such will work with it:

Since it standard 4 pin if you use an RGB LED setup using a remote controller it can all work together.

Actually PPCS does not know if it works with RGB headers. They only know that it works with one of controllers they sell. They also don't know if it works with Aquacomputer RGB controller.

I have that switch & I could never get it to work. It would just power one color or nothing at all. Not sure if adding a resistor to the wiring would help or not. Avoid Digikey tends to be on the expensive side of things compared to Mouser. There RMA department is a mess as well compared to Mouser.

Current Build: Project Frost
Gaming Rig Build: Project Ice Dragon

The switch from PPC’s uses the standard RGB controller so it should in theory have no problem unless it is not the regular 12V version and say the 5V type.

maybe, PPCS had no data yet for other controllers.

btw, PV4 only comes in RGB with type B & type 3. With are On/off switch & Mom on on switch. You need a Mom-off for power switch.
