Display Overclocking Issues

guitarboy012001

Yo, so I'm overclocking my monitor right now just for the hell of it and when I create a custom resolution and successfully apply it, the new refresh rate doesn't show up in the advanced settings of my display. Any ideas?

Thanks

What are you using to create a custom resolution?

Nvidia control panel (I have a 1050ti)

hmmm... have you tried restarting your PC?

Indeed

Could it be due to the TN panel? or is that not an issue?

no, that shouldn't have anything to do with this. Windows should at least see the refresh rate. Whether your monitor will work with it or black screen is a different problem.

If you go into Device Manager, can you see any other Display Adaptors? I can't imagine that being the case, but can't hurt to check i guess
