As above - the one that takes the least from you.

I went from Coinotron (3%) to LiteGuardian (2%) and my hash rates + accepted shares are virtually same. Benefit of LiteGuardian is that they have stratum pools in US + EU as failover, so you can failover to effectively the same pool.

That is all opinion based. I personally use https://www.litecoinpool.org/

However, I wouldn't recommend mining on your GTX 780

I realize I shouldn't mine on my 780, but why? I know it's not smart to but why is that the case? Also I plan to make a mining rig sometime this spring

I mean, I guess as long as it's profitable, sure, why not. But, just don't mine on that thing forever. AMD GPU's are worlds better for the same price range (when talking about mining of course)

Supposedly I can get 320 kh/s on it. So I might mine on it when I'm not gaming until I build my mining rig. I'm getting another for Xmas so might actually be decent

You paid about $700 for it, right? A 280X (which is about $300) can get about 600KH/s with a simple OC. So, we could get 1.2MH/s on AMD GPU's for the same price.

Oh I know amd ones are a lot better, but why not use it until I have something better

you can get that without an OC. truse me, i get 650 on my 7970, clocked at 950/1425.

anyways, I don't mine LTC exclusively. I use multipool, which changes the mined coin based on profitablilty. plus they display the bitcoin worth of my coins...

so, really, at any given time, i'm mining one of like 10 different scrypt altcoins. i plan to convert them all to btc anyhow...
