Router Port Forwarding

I have a netgear ac1750 n6400 router and I want to port forward open vpns address to my home network but I cannot. How do I port forward on this router help me please? Also is there any way that I can stop the error from happening in yf2 I get failed after 4 retries. someone told me it was with steam and valves ports and I want to fix all of this please. As well as setting up my own vpn for my home network. Also yes I have looked elsewhere and those guides are way too confusing for me as is
