Help with Microsoft Excel

I'm trying to select a drop down list value using a macro.I'm very unfamiliar with the code so if you post any code, could you please tell me how to include it. It's for my Computing course at college. I will attach some images of the spreadsheet.

 

In the image i want the first carpet type to change into the "Please select Carpet Type".
