Crossfire Question

Just a question here.  Everything I know about Crossfire and SLI is nothing more than being able to spell it.  Therefore a question.  Is it possible to hook up these two cards in Crossfire as Crossfire is the AMD equal to NVidia SLI?

 

a.  Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition

b. Gigabyte R7 260x

 

Both cards are Radeon, both cards have 1Gig memory.

No but if you had a 7790 you could sadly the 7770 and the 260x are different GPUs meaning they won't crossfire however the 260x is a rebrand of the 7790 so that would make that one possible.

Okay, thanks for the help and information.  I didn't know so figured better to ask before doing something I would regret later.
