The problem is as follows:
I have an old PC without peripherals standing in the corner. (only connected via ethernet).

I would like to control said old PC from my main machine (for things like renderfarming, 'outsourcing' storage and so on).

Using Google Chrome Remote I could easily remote control the old PC... IF there was a cursor. I suppose it doesn't show because I boot the old PC wihtout an actual mouse attached.
Also, maybe there is a better way than Chrome Remote, perhaps one that goes directly via network and not online? (both PCs are running Windows 10).

All help is much appreciated!

Thank y'all!

if you have windows 10 pro you can do RDP (built into windows by default).

only the machine you want to remote into needs windows 10 pro.

i use it as well, its quite useful, but for real-time rendering i wouldnt recommend it as RDP is mostly optimized for text-based applications and maybe some website viewing.

i got it configured as far that i can view youtube videos and listen music without any problems at all. but when i want to start using Unreal Engine or Blender, things start going south. some applications wont start at all, but some others (mostly simpler ones) can work flawlessly...

remember, if you use blender to render, you will need to find a workaround because openGL isnt supported over RDP..

you can do without, but it will make blender pretty unresponsive.
