Hey guys, so my psu has been making a squeeking noise for well over a year. I decided to try and alleviate the problem. The noise almost sounds like it would be the fan because it ramps up and down as it draws power. It never stops. I changed the fan and to my dismay, it is still squeeking. I thought it may be the plastic baffle that covers half the fan to direct the air, nope still squeeking.... theres only one other piece of clear plastic that lines one side but it attached underneath the entire pcb of the psu... wtf could this be??? Any help appreciated.

Thanks.

is it squeaking, or does it sound more like whining?

If it is whining that is really coil wine. There is nothing you can do about coil wine.

Definitely not a wine. Imagine a baseball card hitting the spokes on a bicycle, just more high pitched
