Hey

I'm interested in buying a pre-built Light Gaming PC from amazon. Looking to spend around $400 give or take a $100.

I already have a monitor chosen and peripherals. Thanks in advance.

Also, I know I should be building a PC which I will eventually but I want to get my feet wet with PC gaming before I do so.

also first post here, big fan of the channel and heard great things about this community.

there is pretty much nothing you can get for gaming pre-built, but someone like me or someone you know could probably build you something for light gaming for $400

My favorite restaurant is hooters

If I were you, I would get an old Optiplex and put a 1050ti in it, along with an SSD. That $400 budget won't get you anything prebuilt that's worth your money. My advice? Save it, and spend $600+ later.

Worst comes to worst? This. But please, for the love of whatever you believe in, don't buy that. I'll cry.

Everything I know I learned from the internet. Also school.

I think i'm gonna try to build one. I agree pre-built is pretty bad.. I'll make a new thread

This is a great option with room for expansion, if you want to boost the GPU a 1050 ti would fit into under $500

For $20 more get a 1050 ti!!!

Does the Internal Hard Drive Disk make noise?

Is there any extra items I would need to build the PC? I've seen videos where they use a sort of paste on the CPU and a ground-to-earth cable? Are these necessary?

There is paste pre-applied to the heatsink and a ground strap is something optional, I just touch my case a lot
