Display Cable Issues

I recently got the Benq GW2255 21.5 inch monitor and the HIS IceQ 7870. I was looking at the back of the video card that has a female dvi port, I looked on the monitor with a male dvi port. Long story short, I was wondering what kind of dvi cable to use? DVI Male to DVI Male? DVI Male to DVI Female?

AMD FX-6300 @ Stock, MSI 970a-G46 Motherboard, Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB 1600Mhz, HIS Radeon Hd 7870 Ghz Edition @ 1100/1350, WD Caviar Blue 1tb, Corsair CX600, NZXT Source 220, and a Benq 21.5 Inch Monitor.
