Laptop suggestions

Currently looking for a laptop, this won't be my main PC so not looking to spend too much on it. I will be mainly using it for visualstudio and maybe a little bit of Photoshop as well. I would really like if it can run league at a decent frame rate as well. I have around $500 to spare

What size would you prefer also more power or more battery life and portability?

^^this, any 2nd/3rd/4th gen quad core QM CPU is faster than every 7th gen ULV CPUs, make sure you got one with IPS panel, swap a new, big battery and maybe throw in a SSD or an additional RAM

Any dGPU will work fine

I've been looking around online for MQ laptops but most of them are out of my price range

You can buy a M CPU laptop and then buy a MQ CPU to swap it
