CS:GO FPS DROP

Hey guys! I will cut right to the chase, i have a GTX1060 6gb GPU and a Kaby Lake i5-7500 3.40 GHz and as the title suggests i have an issue with weird fps drops in the game. Before i could play with a stable 290 fps as shown on the picture, but yesterday the game just decided to drop to 100-120's without any reason. I have tried most of the solutions i have seen online, but none of them helped solve the issues with the FPS drops. I have reached out to you guys in order to seek help from some of you fine lads. Have you guys experienced FPS drops in CS:GO? Was there a solution to it? Please share your answeres so i may resolve my issue, kind regards -Repy

Just set a max FPS in console. 

 

It's like max_fps 60

 

Or fps_max 60 

 

Not 100% sure.

 

But you don't have to do 60. I usally have it at the higher my PC will run the game with no dips. And that's 215fps for me.

 

Just mess around untill you get the Mac stable FPS then cap it at that so itnwotn go higher or drop as frequently

You are getting me wrong, i said that the game suddenly dropped from 290 to 100 which i found weird. Is that hard to grasp?

I only got a vrius that installed a bit miner and amde all my games run like shit. It was inside a PDF I downloaded so becareful

For starters, that's not that bad. Secondly, it's normal, even for your hardware.
