Worth upgrading my cooler ?

Hi so i got my 7700k and a hyper 212 a few weeks ago and im not sure if im getting good temps (High/mid 60s while gaming and sometimes it goes up into the low 70s stock speed 70-80% load)

i was thinking about upgrading to the Cryorig R1 Ultimate or the Darkrock 3 pro

Dark rock pro 3 or a noctua aio would be good if you plan on overclocking.  60s-70s are normal but if you overclock on the hyper 212 evo then it will probably be upper 80s. A $45-60 Aio is a much better investment on a 7700k than a hyper 212 evo.

Yeah i was thinking about the darkrock 3 but people say that is really hard to install and noctua coolers are just ugly do you know if the r1 will give the same preformance as the darkrock/noctua

No idea. Noctua will get it done, but look ugly.  The dark rock 3 should be fine unless you want the pro 3 (the mASSive one)

Noctua are simply the best aircoolers. If the color really bothers you you can just replace the fans they use a decent universal mounting bracket. Noctua also makes grey redux and black industrial fans.

I might also throw in Cryorig cause they look nice and cool decently.
