Hello,

I have just opened up my PC in an effort to fix a Kernel Power 41 (63) error I started receiveing recently.

Once I opened the case I found this rust-looking like dust inside and also some (very little quantity) oily/watery substance around the CPU fan cover.

Any ideas on what is causing this? I am pretty sure that 2 days ago it wasn't there.

i have no idea about the water. the "rust"could be sand.. still not good to have that in your case tho...

looks like your fan had a sealed fan bearing, and the bearing just failed and shot shit all over the place. just wipe it up.

check your psu

Yeah I opened the case to check if all the modular cables were in properly. But then the dust caught my attention.

Do you think that this solution I posted in this other thread might fix the problem? (Opened another thread as I was asking about two different problems)
