Hey in mid November I’m going to be done with my pc build. I want the 1070 but i can’t afford it until after Xmas so I have to get the 1060 6gb.  I was wondering how good it is. I was thinking of getting the 1060 in November and then after Xmas around mid to late January try to step up to the 1070. Has anyone done the EVGA step up?

1060 is really good for the cost in fact its what i call the "Point of no return card" meaning as you step up to a 1070 1080 etc the reward diminished compared to value.

Ive used EVGA step up but years ago (2010) ID give their page a read first before considering.

I know that they still have a limit on what cards/boards can be stepped up.
