Choosing a Laptop

I need a laptop for University, mainly for gaming. Battery life is no issue though it would be a plus for it to last a while. I would prefer it to be slim but that's only a preference. My budget is £1.5k at a push. 

I've found this and was wondering your opinions? Suggestions are also welcome.

Avoid MSI GV/GL/GP/some GE series, build quality isn't that great and a bit overpriced, you can get a much better laptop for the same price
