Hi, so my keys on my Corsair k55 have stopped working. What happens is the key will not register and after hitting it a few times it finally works. This usually happens when I am typing. But now my left side shift, caps lock and tab keys have stopped working. My keyboard is about 2-3 months old, with no wear and tear, or water split on it. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the suggestions, but I have ran a virus scan and have switched to other usb ports with no avail.

connect any other keyboard, if they work fine in the same port, id say the keyboard cable is somehow damage on the inside ( that u cant see ) and not making fully contact  ( could have happened when u twist the cable ect )

in other words i would claim RMA

I have just tried what you have suggested and the other keyboard works fine. I guess I just got a faulty keyboard. Thanks for your time!

the last thing u can try is , uninstall the corsair drivers, run the keyboard without any drivers installed ( let windows install drivers ) that way u can also cancel out driver issues

* keyboards always work without drivers, yet they still produce drivers for them and they can glitch the fk out somtimes *

thats the last thing u could really try :v, dont give up just yet haha

if that also fails

RMA

Thanks for saving my hope! I'm not sure on how to uninstall my corsair drivers. I went into device manager and uninstalled all my keyboards that popped up (they were all named: HID Keyboard device). I'm some what new to the pc world, so some stuff may sound un-famailar to me.

Just did what you said and the keys still don't work. So it's a physical problem. Thanks for helping me. Doing this with the internet would have yielded no results. Thanks again!
