Have buddy that's installing Asus Crosshair VI Extreme and the 1700 CPU, with the Samsung 960 Evo NVMe SSD

He had downloaded the chipset driver from Asus, which is 1.3 GB in size, and when he tried to install it, it was over in 3 seconds.

Is that correct? Seemed a little to fast.

Is there any where to check that it's installed correctly?

I went to AMDs site, and the driver there was only 173 Mb in size.

Sorry for the few off Capital letters in my posts, it does it on its own when I Write in English, since my OS is in another Language. It's annoying.
