My planned gaming pc

Go to solution Solved by Ryan Yon,

The 6300 will be more than sufficient for gaming, and the six cores will help in CAD and editing. The 8320 will obviously be better, due to the two more cores, but the answer to your question is yes.

great, thanks for the help cant wait to get it and build it.

Is my gaming pc going to be minimum on bottlenecking with these specs and any other important information thanks.

Even though I personally like win7 better, win 8 will give performance boosts in DX11.2(or whatever it is that win7 no longer supports) games like BF4. Plus with win 8 you get free OS upgrades for a couple of years.

However if you are dead set on using win 7 (which don't get me wrong I do understand) you should go with an AMD GPU that supports mantle so that you don't have to mess with Direct X at all in mantle supported games.

Also for CPU you might be better suited with an intel i5 because of the improved single threaded performance in games but that CPU is perfectly fine either way.

For gaming you want to focus more on the GPU than the CPU. Will you also be using it for CAD or editing? The 8320 is £30 more, but it is your choice. The 6300 will work just fine.
