PC won't turn on!

I (Idiot) accidentally spilled soda on my computer and it messed it up and it won't turn on now. I'm suspecting that the motherboard died as it got severe amounts of liquid on it so what should I do now? I acted fast and wiped off most off the liquid that got into the PC.

i don't think anything else has broken because they didn't get as much soda on them but who knows?? What's the best thing to do now? Any advice?!?

If you tried turning the computer on while the computer is still wet, the motherboard is likely dead at this point. RAM and drives should be fine. If you want to try and recover the computer, try open it up as much as possible and dry it up with a fan pointing at it for a couple of days, up to a week and see if it helps.

Super-duper disclaimer: Don't put up your hopes too high for situations like this, it's likely a dead computer, but no harm trying right? :)
