Hey guys, my current desk pc its a bit old and getting obsolete pretty fast , but i live in Brazil, so hardware is really expensive, my rig is: AMD FX-4300@4.2Ghz, 8 Gbs of DDr3 RAM, with a GTX 650 2GB, ( my motherboard is relly not even worth mentioning),  i think my GPU is the bottleneck of this, but since i am no expert, i have the money right now for an 1050 Ti 4GB, and just start  saving up for a CPU and Motherboard upgrade next. SHould i Buy the new GPU? or the gain with such a limited and old CPU wasnt gonna be woth it??

=)

buy the best gpu you can -> consider going ryzen if you need more CPU performance.

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

thanks, and i was thinking of ging ryzen, but as i've said, to change for a 1500x and a decent motherboard, i would spend 3x as much as the 1050ti, so its gonna take some time before i save up that money =p

Your PC looks good as it is but the thing is, is the 650 those things are way obsolete so id recommend getting a 1050 or a 1060. what FPS are you currently getting right now?

On Low settings, on dark souls 3, nba 2k17, about 30~40 i was able to play the witcher 3 on the lowest settings possible ( on 720p) but it looks too ugly hahahha and dishonored 2 sometimes the frames drops to low 20's. I was hoping that with an 1050 ti i can play those more closely to the 60 fps and with the settings towards medium to high =)

yea the 1050TI should run at 60fps but if it dosesn't id advise you too upgrade too 16gb of ram. games like Forza dishonoured GTA also SSDS help a lot but there pricy. but cheapest bet is getting a new GPU for now. i use the 970TI and i get 60fps on high for most games so 1050 should easily be able too do it

I prefer if you have the money to buy gtx 1050ti 4gb card then go,for it! But you should even upgrade your CPU to Ryzen 1200 and there are few Cheap AM4 Motherboads, look ahead!
