1 Pixel thick horizontal grey line across monitor

Hey there!

I've recently ran into an issue or maybe I've just noticed it, but there is a 1 pixel thick, grey, horizontal line that runs across my main monitor. I also just recently bought a new GPU (specs below) and not sure if it could be GPU issue either but I've only just noticed and have no idea if it's been there from the start.

I have use 3 monitors: BenQ Zowie XL2411, and two BenQ GL2460

The Zowie is plugged in with DVI dual link

One GL is plugged in with HDMI

The other GL is plugged in with HDMI to Display Port

This is what I've gathered so far:

Only the Zowie has the grey line

If I lower the resolution from 144hz to 60hz it disappears

It doesn't show when using HDMI vs DVI (probably because HDMI caps at 60hz)

I've switched DVI cables and the problem persists

I've restarted the computer

Unplugged and re-plugged everything

Any help is appreciated, thank you!

This sort of thing is usually a monitor problem, maybe it got hit by something or one of the scan lines broke. It can happen. Try it with a different pc to make sure it's not your system's fault and if it is indeed the monitor try to get it replaced under warranty. If it's out of warranty I'm afraid there's very little you can do.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

Please provide both a physical picture (taken by a phone or something) of all three of your monitors, and a prntscrn of the one with the issue on it

Here are the pictures, I'm not sure if you'll be able to see the grey line. I know it seems really insignificant but my eyes can't help but focus on it.

I'll try using someone else's PC and see if the problem persists

I will check and see if I have a valid warranty but if not - then I guess I'll just have to learn to deal with it I guess

I have the same exact problem on the same exact monitor, Benq XL2411 at 144hz, about 3 weeks old. I do also have a 1070, a founders editor. Have you managed to fix it?

I included a picture that shows the line. It is right on the cursor.
