Build for Gaming & Streaming <=1500 $

I prepared 1500 dollars budget for my first desktop build, for gaming and streaming, after many years what I working and playing on laptop (after years what I switched many laptops, with many eGPU enclosures).

Here is link on my pcpartpicker: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/PepeCZ/saved/tGkd6h

Many items I bought (monitor, keyboard, mouse, mousepad, router,..), so please if have someone good tip for any part, please be only on items what I must buy.

PS: Please not tips on PSU :-) I want buy 1000W (for future proof, I want next year buy highest gpu or two), and not tips on ssd which haven't MLC chips.

Looks good for CPU encoding in OBS.

As for Network stuff.. I cannot comment.

You could save money on the memory unless you absolutely want RGB. Also, what are you going to use to cool this? You will need better than the stock cooler to overclock which I presume you're doing because you want an X370 Chipset motherboard. Maybe get an AIO Watercooler?

CPU: Intel Core i7 8700

GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070

MOBO: ASUS Z370-F STRIX

RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 2133MHz

I'm going to call overkill on 3200 RGB ram lol.

What are you going to be using to cool the CPU?

Here only small welcome from my country and my optic ;-)

About media, I wonder if it pays to replace the cpu and mobo: Ryzen 1700 + X370 versus TR 1900x + X399
I fear that this switching cost som many more and bonus is small.

And my first streaming build I not want build imediatly on 12core,16core TH (because this cpu is in my country for many bucks, plus very bucks for boards).

Looks good in terms of speed. Are you using Ethernet or Wifi?

If you're using wifi... Stop.

If you're using Ethernet, keep doing that.

Ryzen benefits from faster ram.

The RGB may be overkill, but eh, "aesthetic"

The performance gains are really not worth that much when it comes to performance, even on Ryzen from reviews I've seen. Sure, more so than other CPUs maybe but the gains are really minimal.

Yea :-) True, aesthetic. When I want again build desktop pc after so many years so I want have little better look.

But guys what case? here I am not always determined which is the best
Now I have in my eyes these cases:

* NZXT S340 Elite Tempered Black

* Phanteks Enthoo Evolv Tempered Satin Black

* Phanteks Enthoo Pro M Tempered Black

* Be quiet! Dark Base PRO 900 Tempered Black

I maybe want buy now some case, which support EATX board, if I want in future switch on threadripper or some cpu as this. This why I have in my list Bequiet 900 Pro.

It's at 3200 mhz. That's pretty fast IMO. I heard they were having issues hitton 3000 mhz when ryzen first released.

Been said but there are few places to cut cost (RBG). I run a 1700x and can stream, game, and record in OBS without FPS loss or getting artifacts, gotta love those extra cores and threads :D

I would rather agree on what we share, than fight on what we don't. - Myself
