DOOM getting crappy frames?(repost)

I know it's a repost but I desperately need assistance.

It's not to do with the graphics API(Vulkan/OpenGL)

The only thing I can think, is that it has to do with the drivers? I just downloaded drivers yesterday but I don't know why that would cause a problem.

965m, i5 6500 HQ

I've never had this problem before. I could run it at 70+ FPS on High. Now it's unplayable.

I've also just rolled the driver back, no difference was made.

Uninstall drivers with DDU and reinstall them. And make sure that the game settings didn't change.

Alright, let me run one more test. I rolled the drivers back and reinstalled new ones. I've used DDU before but I'll see if that works.

Thanks for the suggestion, but rolling the drivers back and reinstalling the 385.41 drivers ended up solving my problem
