So, I've been using my dual U2515H from Dell for a while now, and I've been thinking about ultrawide for along time now. I want to get rid of the bezel, for one. Two, I need to downsize the space I'm taking up. Two screens is too wide for my purposes, and I can't set my PC on my desk.

What's the best ultrawide for sub $1000 USD? I've looked at Dell and LG, but can't decide which one to get. This will mostly be used for gaming, watching movies, and possible video editing.

Thanks!

I highly recommend the Acer x34a as well. Bought mine last week and I do not regret it, even though the placement of its buttons is a bit weird and requires practice to learn.

Paired it with a 1080ti and everything runs smoothly. Its factory calibrated colours is very good, but requires a little bit of tweaking still. I had to tone down 'blue' in its settings to about 45 - 46 from the otherwise conventional 50 to get it just right and to ease potential eye fatigue.

Some people do like the ASUS Rog Swift PG348Q over the Acer x34a, however the differences that they have is negligible in my opinion. The ASUS Rog Swift PG348Q does have an even better factory calibrated colourisation / coverage from for the sRGB spectrum, but with a little bit of tweaking you can get the Acer x34a there too.
