Issues with freesync

SPG

I have a vega 64 GPU along with a LG 34UM88C-P, This monitor should have free sync from my understanding, and it should go up to 75hz, but I only see 60 as an option. Do I have to enable something? Or am I doing something wrong? I'm connected using displayport right now.

Any help would be appreciated, if you need more information let me know.

With LG monitors you have to turn freesync on in the OSD under game adjust. then you should be able to run it at 75Hz. p.s. not all games like that set refefresh rate.

it says it's on, along with in radeon settings....but how do I enable 75hz? is it just a thing that's enabled and I don't worry about it? when trying to change the refresh rate on windows it only shows 60

huh. When I go to display adaptor properties, under the monitor section it game me

the choice between 60 & 75Hz. But usually just works for me anyway as in games like siege it gives me the 75Hz option.

Have you also enabled DP 1.2 under general in the OSD? I can't see why it would change anything but it might have config stuff to let 75Hz work.

The option is greyed out and says disabled. even when I'm using all the different game mode options

my guess then is that your cable is either old, or not up to par. You can try and use HDMI as that now supports freesync, other than that I would try a new cable.
