Lag-free remote desktop?

I access my laptop on my tablet very frequently, but it's very laggy (even when accessing locally), I have no problems at all accessing from my main PC. Even the tablet is old, I get 50/50 on speedtest on a 100/50 connection, so I don't think this is a bandwith limitation, also not sure if it's the app for iOS that sucks. Does anyone know a better solution or even how to solve this?

is the laptop via wifi or cable? even if you have stable connection with wifi... i have seen multiple times that cable is just alot more stable...

Wifi, but there's no problem accessing it from my PC, so I doubt this is the problem (need to test a bit more though)

i would try with a cable... JUST to be 100%... as i said i have seen same issues even though the wifi connection was great..

Just tested, still the same problem, even tried disconnecting all WiFi devices and leave only my tablet but it still very laggy
