The problem started yesterday. I had gotten off my pc for the night when it started acting very strange. It had randomly boot up by itself for a split second and then just shut off. This process repeated infinitely and it was, infact, in a boot loop. What I ended up doing was reseating the ram. After doing this, instead of boot looping, my pc began to signal 3 beeps When starting up the pc. I reseated the ram a second time and I finally manages to get my pc working. I went to sleep that night thinking I had solved the problem. Today, I managed to play fine on the pc until I went into one of my games and experienced lag and lower than usual frames. Upon checking my available ram, I was shocked to see there was only 4 GB, when I have 8 GB of ram. I figured that one of the sticks wasn't seated properly so once again i reseated the ram. After doing this, MY COMPUTER WENT BACK TO BOOT LOOPING. I tried reseating the ram several times already and each time it STILL boot loops. I am not sure what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like bad ram or borked DIMMs

It may indeed be a bad DIMM, but just in case, try one DIMM at a time in the first slot (designated by your motherboard manual).

You already know that one works without issue. If the other one has an issue, then you should look at the motherboard, and not the DIMMs.

Please quote or mention me if you would like a timely reply. Thank you!
