Mini PCIe vs mSATA

Hey guys, so would like to know if my laptop can support an mSATA SSD. I looked at both and dont seem to be able to tell the difference. Just found out I had an extra slot so seeing if I could make use of it. My laptop is about 3 years+ old so I'm not sure. Thanks!

From the motherboard layout and Chipset type there is only 2 available, from what I can see. I would assume that is your internal HD + your CDVD Drive. Sure, no problem there friend!
