Going to be used as gaming/workstation.

 

Any suggestions for changes to the build?

 

Motherboard must have a TPM chip.

 

Already have 1tb sdd and other storage devices so no need for more the m.2 is just for a boot device.

nvme does not improve boot time over regular sata, just get 850 evo

 

get a 1700 and use stock cooler, that aio isn't amazing anyways

D5x looks like the same for $25 less, i'd get that instead. monitor is fine.

No but I have a winning bit on it on ebay for 79 usd (S340 elite).

I've seen the case it's not what i'm looking for as the s340 elite has dust filters all over it and I can just add rgb later If I wanted to, I could care less about rgb.  Plus the case has nice ssd mounting areas in the front of the case so I can display my ssds.  

 

As for that psu i'd prefer fully modular.

and it's only that one motherboard cable that's not modular, hardly a concern.
