Upgrading Storage

Sonicking157

I have one seagate 1tb drive and a samsung 850 evo 120gb. I'm considering expanding storage because 120gb just doesn't feel like enough. My question is what do you feel like the SSD GB sweet spot is, and what drive should I get next. I'm perfectly fine with getting a higher GB 850 EVO. I have an MSI Z97 PC Mate Mobo.

Side Note:

  • What's the best way to wipe an SSD so that I can use the old one for more storage.
  • Would Cloning the old SSD to the new one work the best?

120gb should be more than enough imo, just put your OS and main programs (browsers etc) onto it, all other files onto your hdd.

Before you look at my signature and say "well you've got 600+gb in ssd's" it's cause they were on a very good sale when i bought them :P
