If money is a big concern just avoid custom loops.

I want to water cool my GPU, but i am not sure if i want to go with a custom loop or an AiO solution. The AiO solution is a Kraken G12 bracket and the H50 from Corsair. If i was to go custom loop, i would also want to put my CPU under the loop as well. Right now i have a H110i cooling my 1700X. What should i do? Money is the big concern here. If having a custom loop yields a giant performance boost over an AiO tell me.
