Kodi Fire Stick

Will Kodi work on a firestick only when connected to a smart tv with built in wifi or will it work and stream online television on any pc monitor with an hdmi output? If i can get some help on the matter, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

The Fire Stick connects to WiFi itself, not via the TV. Kodi works fine on it without a Smart TV, I have mine setup in the living room to stream movies from my NAS.

Will I need a NAS as well, or will it work just as well with just the firestick and monitor? Thank you for your help!

The NAS just stores my media and I stream from it using the Fire Stick, that's just how I use it, it's not a requirement to use the Fire Stick or Kodi.  Kodi will work on the Fire Stick with any HDMI display just fine.
