Xiaomi Redmi Note 4x on a UK network

I'm considering buying a Redmi Note 4x but according to the specs it doesn't support 800Mhz (Band 20). This band is used by most networks in the UK, including the one my sim is on. Will the phone's signal still function properly? Does anyone own a Xiamoi phone in the UK? If so, what is your experience? Thanks

Check what bands you get in your area. Lower frequency bands generally offer better range and penetration. If the lower frequency LTE bands (like 800 MHz) are not supported, then you'd likely fallback to 3G in areas that aren't served well by the supported higher frequency LTE bands (say inside a large building or far from a cell tower).
