Dual channel ram question

Is it possible to dual channel hx424c15fb2/8 and HX424C15FB/8?
People are having mixed opinions about this, can i get dual channel boost performances with those 2? 
Some say it is hit or miss and some say it should work, did anyone have any similar experience? Just wanna make sure before i get it.
