Alright so the problems started about 3 or so weeks ago. Randomly (sometimes within minutes of the last, and all during the evening, except maybe once during the day) the router will reboot, no reason that i can determine. It is up to date firmware wise, and i have done a factory reset and rolled back the firmware and updated to the most recent manually. The router does not appear to be running any hotter than it usually does, and ive had it for about a year (purchased mid sept. 2016). I do run a plex server (and i have started trying out emby for a personal replacement) and my family recently started using kodi, but before that netflix was in common use. In addition, ping is often  high with discord (sometimes as high as 2000ms, but thats rare) and wireless speeds have never been above 30mbps 60ft away in the living room (that could be due to the walls as the room with the router gets around 120mbps wireless on my phone). Any ideas? the website lists a 50 guest capacity so i assume i can easily do half that in personal family devices, it is a 500$ router afterall. at worst its rebooting 4 times in a row one night within minutes, at best, it doesnt mess up for the whole day, on average it cuts out in the evening at least once.

Had the same problem with my EA 9500 purchasing only 3 months before, after a 2 hour call with tech support they concluded it was a motherboard issue possibly due to overheating at one point. The night before I had been backing up my home sever to an offsite location so it was working pretty hard. I was still well within the warranty period and so they just sent a new one. If you have the time to spare I would call their support line, he did tell me the early ones were prone to issue.

Good luck.
