My friend has a dell inspiron 3650 prebuilt with a i5 6400, 8gb of ram, and a gt 730. I was wondering if putting a 1050ti would work. The computer has a proprietary psu and motherboard. It does not have a 24 pin connector instead it has a 6 pin and the normal 4 pin for the cpu. I was wondering if the motherboard pcie slot would even output 75 watts to power the 1050 ti?

Above the PCIe slot how many watts does it say it provides and you will need a external 6 pin connector on some GTX 1050TIs

Im mostly on discord now and you can find me on my profile

I suppose as long as the propiotary power supply can output enough wattage for the the added wattage from the motherboard, than it should be ok.

thats the other thing, im not sure what the wattage is on it. Im guessing 300 watts
