Hello all!

I use this headset for my ps4 https://www.amazon.co.uk/XP7-SEVEN-Xbox-360-Headset/dp/B0099R6MNY

Recently ive noticed a noise coming from the headset when the game volume is at 0.

The headset works by plugging the console interface into the ps4 then adding the audio control unit to it via USB and multipin, you then connect the headset to the ACU via a wire with 3 slits on it, Looks like a 3.5 m jack.

I tried the headset on two PC's and its the same buzz, even when the volume is at 0.

Can anyone point me in the right direction, If you need more info ill be happy to reply asap :)

thanks

if it buzzes no matter what usb you connect it to, it's probably the headset or cable itself.. maybe poor insulation?

Have you tried to perform a sudden temporary interrupt of the electricity flow to your computational device followed by a re-initialization procedure of the central processing unit and associated components?

I actually have two audio control units so i switched then around, Still get the same problem. Is there anyway i could insulate the cable better myself?

that would be more work than it's worth i think.. the cables inside are usually very thin and it will most likely look "macguyvered" as a result..

i would check reviews and forums around the web to see if anyone else has experienced the same issue.. if it's something most people have, it's most likely just bad production quality
