I'm looking to get a game capture device so then I can just record with two machines and I have a laptop and desktop right now (both specs in signature) and I am going to start to stream soon if my wifi can stand it (18 down 1.8 up the server is in Chicago and I can get closer servers but they're too close for my comfort because then you can have a general area where I live in) but I'm looking for a capture card under $250 preferable since I'm trying to have a budget on everything I will get is going to be cheaper except my desktop since it's more the rather important thing for a channel (dm me for it if interested) and I know that I will get a console but it's going to be later but I want to also get an elgato stream deck (it will improve my quality a little bit but not much) but I know this rambles on a bit but all of the stuff will need to be purchased from a Canadian site or Amazon.com since they can ship to Canada, so what capture card will be pretty good for me

I use the Elgato HD 60 S for capturing my PS4 and will work just fine for your computer capture as well.

I guess I might as well ask: what resolution? What frame rate? Specific bitrate? and etc.

Probably 720p or 1080p, 30fps, I havent messed with the bitrate on OBS right now but I will probably do it when I start to stream

Elgato bit more expensive though! But you know what they say: Buy cheap, buy twice!

Say that to the 7 port USB hub I got for $5 cad and most of my stuff is cheap stuff for now
