USB PORTS NOT WORKING

Not sure if this section is the appropriate place to ask your question. But regardless, can it recognize any other devices? Have you checked that your USB port is not faulty? Like maybe due to over-current?

Daily drivers:

Have you just bought the Laptop/PC? 

 

If it's a PC, check that the USB connector in plugged into the motherboard correctly.

I'm having the same problem. Its the front ports all are plugged in and the ports don't seem faulty however I'm fairly new at this and inexperienced. Nothing powers on or even gets recognized. The rear ports work with everything but the dongle I'm trying to work with. Specifically I'm trying to connect an Asus Wireless dongle (usb-AC53 Nano) that I've had for like a week and used on my old case for maybe a few hours. For cereal its very frustrating. any help would be greatly appreciated.
