So I am a small YouTuber, I game. I plan to use this computer to play League of Legends, record League of Legends, and edit my videos. I eventually plan to upgrade my storage. It is currently a very terrible HDD out of my old 2008 MacBook, I also plan to upgrade the CPU to Ryzen 5, and the GPU to the RX 480 or 580, maybe go over to team green, idk tho. Any and all tips/suggestions are welcome.

I would strongly suggest against going with an RX 480 or 580. Don't get me wrong, they are fantastic performers, but unfortunately, the recent Cryptocurrency craze has caused the prices to skyrocket to unreasonable price to performance ratios. Instead, I would suggest going with a GTX 1060 6GB or used GTX 980/980 Ti.

As for the rest of your build, I would suggest that you put together a list of what you're interested in so far on PCPartPicker. It makes it easier to critique. Also, the link you posted seems to be broken.

I noticed, but I was a bit confused by the parts you listed. Are you looking to switch over to AMD instead of going with a Xeon? What is your budget are you looking to stick with?

Below is an edited part list you might want to consider. The case is entirely dependent on personal choice on aesthetics. As for your power supply, I'm unsure if getting such a cheap PSU is a great idea, even from EVGA.

PCPartPicker part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/M3d4bj
Price breakdown by merchant: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/M3d4bj/by_merchant/

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 1400 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($156.48 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: MSI - B350M GAMING PRO Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard  ($78.89 @ OutletPC)
Memory: Patriot - Viper Elite 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory  ($62.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Samsung - 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($89.99 @ B&H)
Video Card: Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB WINDFORCE OC 6G Video Card  ($290.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Case: Fractal Design - Core 2300 ATX Mid Tower Case  ($49.99 @ NCIX US)
Power Supply: EVGA - BV 450W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply  ($12.98 @ Newegg)
Total: $742.31

With the case, I will probably just keep the one i have. my main focus right now, would have to be storage and gpu, because i have 8gb of ram, and this cpu overclocks fine to 4.0 ghz, but i just need to figure out if gpu or storage is more important to me so i can know which to go for frst. this hdd is pretty bad, but so is a GT 630, with only mini HDMI and 2 DVI ports

This will allow you to up the CPU to R5 1600, which will help with streaming and video creation, personally I would recommend 16GB ram but it's hard to get that with your budget and everything else but since RAM can easily be added after without a loss, it's better to go with 8GB now and a stronger CPU rather then a weaker CPU and more RAM. Same goes for the SSD, nice to have but not needed when you are on a budget, and you can always add it later without a loss. By loss I mean being able to upgrade without losing money, if you go with weaker GPU or CPU, then you need to replace it instead of just add to the build, so you lose the initial money you spent,

I believe your CPU will bottleneck just about any "modern" card above a GTX 750 Ti. In theory, you could pick up a GTX 1060 3GB now and use it for a future build, but you should expect major bottlenecking. Additionally, I would strongly suggest picking up an 850 EVO for your current build.

is this cpu that old/bad? i was under the assumpion that it was actually decent. but i got everything in this build for free except the ram, which i paid $25 for, so essentially i have nothing into this build atm, but i am a broke ass 16 y/o with a very terrible job.

also try to figur out what could be causing this computer to just randomly restart. i know its not the ram, because i borrowed some from a friend to see if that would fix it. other than that, i have no idea, any ideas?

The A6-5400K is one of the poorest performers in all of AMD's releases in 2012. The FX 6300, which was released at the same time and is now the worst performing popular AMD CPU, performs significantly better than the A6-5400K. See http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/AMD-FX-6300-vs-AMD-A6-5400K-APU/1555vsm4113 for a side-by-side comparison.

unfortunately that CPU and GPU is really weak to play any kind of decent modern game, let alone try to stream awhile playing. I say reuse the case if you are low on budget but the build I linked earlier is under your initial budget and gives you a system that can do everything you asked. Just for  comparison sake, here is a comparison between CPU and GPU I listed and what you have.

CPU - http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/AMD-Ryzen-5-1600-vs-AMD-A6-5400K-APU/3919vsm4113

GPU - http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-1060-6GB-vs-Nvidia-GeForce-GT-630/3639vsm7766

Also clock speed isn't everything, just because you can overclock to 4ghz, doesn't mean you will get the same performance as other 4ghz processors. For example take a look at the FX 8350, a 8 Core CPU at 4ghz vs r5 1400, a 4Core/8Thread CPU at 3.2ghz, the R5 1400 is the better chip.
