Win 7/nVidia dimming inactive screen

Go to solution Solved by theme1256,

OK... So I found the source of the problem. It was the powermanager I do not know if it can be changed from the Windows version, but the Lenovo Powermanager can. Under the tab "Settings" you can activate "magic light settings" or something(Danish...) :)

So... I have this problem with my desktop where it dims the screen, which my cursor is not on. This works in some games, but in others, mostly FPS games, it just ruins the gaming experience :(

I can be going back and forth and the screen goes up and down in brightness and it just drives me nuts, and it doesn't show the cursor on the other screen.

My Rigs is two Lenovo screens, L2250p and L2251x running from a Zotac GeForce GT 630 1GB, it is a bit low, but better than the original GT 9500 512MB, which did the same thing. I'n running one monitor on DVI and the other on DVI converted to VGA(yeah I know it is bad...), because I do not own a DVI to Displayport, but that would not help as I ran it of Displayport on the old card.

Can anyone help me turn this down function off? I have looked a lot of places in Windows and nVidia properties.

Power Savings?

I have it running at "max power", so I don't think it's that :/ Have looked it through and couldn't find anything that could do this.

Might be. I haven't tried with other monitors, might do that, if I happen to stumble across two other screens I can try it on :)

I just tried searching for a couple of thinks that might give a result on Google, but can't find anything :/ You are properly right tho, it is work minded monitors and a work minded desktop...
