Get two 7970s or 670s and a better PSU. Titan is not worth the price. If you are willing to spend a grand on GPUs might as well get a new PSU for another $100.

...How do you play games with only one arm? Sorry if I'm being rude. I'm just kind of curious.

As far as the Titan goes it is beat in raw performance by dual 7970s or dual 680s, but since it's a single GPU you don't have to deal with driver issues, SLI profiles, non-dual-graphics-optimized games, etc. and overall more consistent performance. If that's worth the extra money to you then go for it. You're probably getting $700-800 worth of performance with a Titan and $200 worth of single-GPU-ness.

I wouldn't recommend a dual-GPU configuration, since your PSU doesn't have the capacity for most efficient setups.

As for the Titan, it's top-of-the-line in most situations for gaming (since driver support is readily available), however I don't think it's necessary.

If you have the money to blow, go for it. However, I would stick with the 7850.

An upgrade to the 680 would be okay, however I would still recommend the usually cheaper and better performing HD 7970s GHz Edition.

Get a 670 ftw, that will suffice in all games.

Edit: sorry didn't see some text on my phone-if you've got the money get a 680 OC of some sort.

i7 3770k @5GHz, Gigabyte Z77x-UD5H, GTX 1070, AX 1200, EK custom loop, 8GB Blue Vengeance CL9 1600MHz, IPS 24" 1080p 60Hz, Windows 10 Enterprise, a variety of Samsung SSDs

single gpu performance? a 7970 ghz is a great choice and still can overclock, and great price too... can recomend a titan if you have a large res screen or multiple.. but it is your choice.. if you want to have a titan, and you can spend the money, go for it, very solid performer! and no need to change psu with both the titan and 7970!
