Teamspeak 3 HELP!

hi ppl!..

​ i've created a small ts3 server at my pc to have a channel where me and folks who met gaming across my country can use. nothing fancy... now.. as i have it based upon ip addresses, and it changes (it's a dynamic address) every time light goes off, my router or my modem get's restarted or an rj45 is connected/disconnected something, is a real pain to have the members aware of the new address, the other option is to have the server on a web/url address... i don't own any web pages to experiment with, but some friends do, but i have no real knowledge on how to config that, so that the address can be permanent and not have a bunch of changing numbers every time something happens.. any help would be appreciated!

You'll need a web address registered with a registra that supports dynamic DNS auto updating, no-ip is a free option, or there is more premium methods like DynDNS,

You'll have to have a program on the PC that will update the IP connected to the domain at regular intervals.

thanks lutzee... i have created a host account on no-ip... but now, how can i route the ts3 server on to that host adress.. of course, i have ts3 server and client running on my pc!

i see i have to create a domain name and register that.. by the moment i don't have a credit card at hand to use.. so that solution is off for now!... right?

You can do it all free should not cost anything

the registration in the page/host IS free.. but domain/name reg is not!

let me seek better to see if i missed someting!
