hello guys and girls

a while ago i bought my Gigabyte R9 280x it already comes OC out of the box and thats all fine.

but is there a way to flash the bios with another bios from a different brand?

just to ge that voltage unlocked to tweak it a little more, and later on watercooling it to clock it higher.

If any of you have experience with it let me know.

Is this atleast possible to do or not ?

If no, are there other solutions to get what i need ?

Go into MSI Afterburner and in the options there should be a choice to edit the voltage.

@Bluejay0 yes it asked to restart the app and i did it but still nothing.

this is why i ask if its possible to flash it with other brand bios or other ways to unlock it.

Make sure the BIOS switch on your card is set to 1. I had this problem with my MSI card too, only once it was set to position 1 could I modify the voltage.

Gigabytes card is usually hard voltage lock, you might need to mod your own BIOS to change the volt.
