Yeah, thats what I would've done, that should delete all the games files. After you've done that just simply re-install the game through steam. Oh and I'm not sure how saves works with the game (haven't played it myself) you may have to try and find your games saves (if that is a thing) and save them somewhere temporarily.

I have Shogun 2 and it's installed in the Steamapps folder,when I click the application in the steam apps folder it works,but when I open Steam it say's that the game isn't installed.I could reinstall it but I only have 12GB of hard drive space left

No.Steam installed the game on my computer but it won't let me play the game because evreytime I click the Icon steam tells me to install it

Steam Cloud is working so I think I should be fine,plus I just finished a Oda Campaingn so it's not like I have anything saved

I just don't want to wait to play the game as i'm on my crappy wifi
