Total War Shogun 2

I have Shogun 2 and it's installed in the Steamapps folder,when I click the application in the steam apps folder it works,but when I open Steam it say's that the game isn't installed.I could reinstall it but I only have 12GB of hard drive space left

19,but my hard drive is filled with 100mb games so it's kind of a pain to uninstall and reinstall.

yeah.It's in the steam apps folder and on programs and features

No.I'm just trying to make steam recognize it as this is what it's like right now

oh its on the Windows Store and you want to play it on steam?

No.Steam installed the game on my computer but it won't let me play the game because evreytime I click the Icon steam tells me to install it

I just realized I can't uninstall it because It unistalls through steam and steam thinks it's already uninstalled so nothings popping up

Then go into the file explorer and delete it from there and try installing it then but try clicking install right now

Something like this happened to me recently (with steam randomly telling me an application isn't installed,) try finding your games folders and deleting them, and then re-install the game.

Yeah, thats what I would've done, that should delete all the games files. After you've done that just simply re-install the game through steam. Oh and I'm not sure how saves works with the game (haven't played it myself) you may have to try and find your games saves (if that is a thing) and save them somewhere temporarily.

Steam Cloud is working so I think I should be fine,plus I just finished a Oda Campaingn so it's not like I have anything saved

I just don't want to wait to play the game as i'm on my crappy wifi
