the network card on my motherboard is a pile of shit basically. i have the MSI mpower z87 board. its been giving me bluescreen, my anti virus wants to remove it. and to day i lunched my windows in repair mode and it removed it from the computer. so im sick and tired and need a network card

i dont want something just to get by. i have fiber optic broadband so i need a good enough network card but not over kill

i have no idea where to start.

really? are you sure. they have Intel NIC's dont they? they are some of the best. and how does a network card give you a blue screen.

but to answer your question really any INtel gigbit NIC is probably the best

I don't know if the NIC is causing you're problem, but if you're sure then u can indeed buy like any Intel NIC.

drivers, i used the  driver from the disk, got blue screen, i updated it from the website online. got blue screen

exact same problem with the same network card on a laptop for some guy. from windows 8 he switched to windows 7, and still gets the same crashes.
