So we recently upgraded to 60 Mb/s speeds, and on my dads MBP, he gets those speeds yet on my PC I still get 25-30. Any idea why this happens? I dont know my network card because I changed the drivers to fix some issues.

Also I am not going to use ethernet, so please dont bother posting about it.

Thanks!

Well your using Wireless. So do you know what standard the wireless card in the PC is? example wireless G, N, AC? If the router and wireless card support it, have you tried 5Ghz. Distance, How many object the wireless signal has to go thru and the weather can all effect wireless speeds. Your router will use a slower speed to keep the link stable. So if your signal strength is not good, its going to slow down the transmission rate to keep it all stable.

If you cant do anything wireless wise, you can also try to use Power Line adapters or Moca adapters.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
